---+ Hot Wax Syringe

Another variation on the [[SyringeBasedExtruder][Syringe Based Extruder]] except this one extrudes wax.  Wax is a very useful material that could probably be used to make quite high resolution objects for lost wax casting.  The potential of being able to automatically create objects to mold for casting is a very exciting idea.

Building a home foundry is actually quite simple and it would be possible to use reprap to make molds to help you form the kiln, the other tools for mold making ,and also the wax objects to be used for the actual mold too.  With aluminum parts, you can start making machines that are strong, durable, and also probably very precise.  At this point in time a you can make some really useful things with a reprap machine.
