---+ Imported parts list The RepRap printer will be able to make most of its own parts in its own specification. However, there are a few parts which it won't be able to make... at least for now. The short list includes: * Grease * Standard electronic chips such as microcontrollers and optical sensors * Standard electrical wiring, USB connectors, etc. * Stepper motors * A 12V power brick * Bolts * ø8 mm steel rods We expect the printer to make all of its other parts using its [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fused_deposition_modeling][FDM Rapid Prototyping technology]]. -- Main.EdSells - 20 Aug 2006
