1975 Toyota Celica Hydrogen Conversion Information
I am starting the process of converting a 1975 Toyota Celica to run strictly off hydrogen and am intrested in using the
RepRap to develop the parts needed for the conversion. I live in Vancouver, BC, and will be among one of the first people to convert a 30 year old internal combustion gasoline powered engine to run off hydrogen. I will be able to utilize the Canadian Hydrogen Highway, which will be ready in 2007 and will be a main focus for the 2010 Olympic games in Vancouver.
I am currently seeking sponsors to donate the parts needed for the conversion; in exchange, I will display the sponsor business names and website addresses on the car.
The Celica will be displayed in various classic car shows, and I am researching various conferences such as 3rd Annual H2PS: Hydrogen Production and Storage Forum Set for September 11-13, 2006 in Vancouver:

The following link is an online photo album of the Celica to give you an idea of what it looks like. It is a rally-inspired car with neither damage nor rust, and will be completely rebuilt:

This project will generate a great amount of interest and I expect that it will be featured in a few magazines; I am only starting the search for sponsors now and hope to hear from you regarding this project.
