This is a test. I'm smart, but sometimes I am ignorant.

Riley founded the anti evolution league. That is appropriate, since my machine was created by intelligent design. I have corrected several shortcomings in the "tripod" design.

Clearly, my tongue is in my cheek ..... swollen and bloated and in the way of progress, but I stand by the naming convention I have chosen for my machines.

The Riley RS1 (aka Rosie) is more Revolutinary than "Evolutionary".

Wow,thats a big pic !!!

I am extremely grateful for the work that was done before I fixed the minor inconveniences with Johanns basic and wonderful design.

OK, I would ask for help pasting some pics in this new page, but I don't know where to go to see the answers you so helpfully want to provide.

I suppose there is a mailbox or something for me under my registered user name? I'm not usually very interactive. I guess I should go explore a little.

This is only a test. I now release you to your regularly scheduled programming.

Hmmmmmmmmmm .......... I guess this is as good a place as any to edit this wikipage. I never did this before. How'm I doin? this is copied and pasted from wordpad. Does it work? I think it will. Yep. it did.

is it still too big? Whoa yeah @! it's friggin huge !@ Better figure out how to scale it down.

I guess I knew I'd have to spend a couple hours on this some day. You history buffs should cache a copy of this because it'll be gone tomorrow : )

Clearly you can see the counterweights and pulleys. My motors barely get warm. I've almost finished a platform mounted feeder so ya don't need a benwa tube to feed the soft rubber filament.

My design philosophy is, If they say it can't be done ..... they are not very smart.

The counterweight idea would benefit the Etch-A-Sketch type machines even more than it has helped me with the trickypods. There are ways and means for using any tool. I have been concentrating on solving tripod issues just because I find it to be very elegant. Nohing is ever "solved" in the real world, unless you are a mathematician.

KISS YSMF !!!!!

Literally, Occams Razor ... Less is more. Stop trying. Reinvent the wheel! Because it's easier that way sometimes. But mostly the tool you need is right in front (or within reach) of you.
