Now that VIA has opensourced its notebook reference design... (see www.via.com.tw/en/initiatives/spearhead/openbook/) and there are designs for the laptop case, I wonder if they are RepRap-able? See also www.viaopenbook.com. I do not know it they are making the boards and other components available as a kit to enthusiasts, but DIY laptops have never really been feasable in part because you could not get the cases - and now we can. That is always assuming that the base is not too big for the RepRap.
