What are the little electrical female crimp terminals called and where can I order them. They have been included in lots of stuff that I have bought that is reprap related. I thought they were Molex kk 0.1" but there are so many different kinds of them I am at a loss. Also what/where to get the black plastic housings to insert the female crimp pins into? Right, but I think what you call the socket I would call a housing! ;)

For UK people (maybe EU also): I use Toby Electronics for connectors, crimps etc. They have a very reasonable shipping charge for small orders. Lol, the exception to the rule is that some people may incorrectly label their product! Those are the right crimp terminals, but they are clearly sockets not pins. The terminology can be confusing, but female terminals are always sockets, male terminals are always pins. It is confusing because a line "plug" housing and a chassis receptacle don't always follow a male/female pattern. They are called just that: 0.1" female crimp terminal. I don't think there is a standard name for the range, they are made by several manufacturers. Example here Crimp terminal

The best place to get them depends where you are, although ebay is worth a look.
