Please help wiring bipolar stepper

I am trying to wire a bipolar stepper motor to a pulse signal generator I bought off Ebay so I can test out stepper motors. I have a 12V power supply connected to it but can only make the motor hum and doesn't move. It did not come with any documentation and I am having trouble finding anything on the internet. I did find this on google but still not sure how to connect the motor. I have attached a picture of the signal generator

My motor has black and green wires for one coil. Red and blue wires for the other coil.

Thanks,
Greg

Thank-you all for the great feedback. I am still a noob to all this but will eventually learn enough toand build my own printer. At this point I don't think it will be more cost effective to build my own or wait until December for my Rigidbot.

Let me save you some REAL frustration. I think that is the same one I bought and I did have the necessary motor driver. In the picture it shows output pins marked pulse & direction, same as mine. BUT, on the one I bought those pins were actually forward pulses and reverse pulses! So the motor ran fine in one dirction and chattered like hell in the other. I wasted lots of time checking wiring & connections. So what we all need to do is give this vendor really negative feedback on Ebay!

Yeah, on that ebay's link, Feature #1

1. This is pulse module, can provide 2.5 KHZ-68 KHZ frequency, supply signal to stepper driver. If you want to control the stepper motor, you still must use a motor driver."]

Ok thanks, I was under the impression this would act as a stand alone controller/driver to run a stepper motor. Here is the ebay link where I bought it.
What do you recommend for a driver?

I'm not following you,

You have a stepper motor, but no stepper driver?

You can't run a stepper motor with just a single pulsing wire.

You require 4 stepping in sequence.
