I am trying to wire a bipolar stepper motor to a pulse signal generator I bought off Ebay so I can test out stepper motors. I have a 12V power supply connected to it but can only make the motor hum and doesn't move. It did not come with any documentation and I am having trouble finding anything on the internet. I did find this on google but still not sure how to connect the motor. I have attached a picture of the signal generator My motor has black and green wires for one coil. Red and blue wires for the other coil. You have a stepper motor, but no stepper driver?

You can't run a stepper motor with just a single pulsing wire.
