Article in this week's economist (sept 5th) In the quarterly technology review there is half a paragraph (page 22 of the review) at the end of an article about powder 3D systems mentioning RepRap. It suggests that projects like RepRap (and it is the only one that gets a mention) are only the mechanically minded, "... Others might want to wait until the local hardware store buys a 3-D printer and begins to offer one-off manufacturing services on demand".
