Leapfrog Creatr problems

I have had my Creatr for just a few months, i dont know if it got banged up during transport or what happened.

I have had nothing but problems from day one, broken motors, electronic problems, it just wont work right,

Support has been good, they have put in a valiant effort but its time to conclude that my printer is a dud. I hope they will take mine in return and give me a new one beacause the one i got is utter crapp.

Also i dont like the dual exstruders, i will never opt for multi exstruders again.

once again today after finally getting it working after the n't fix it failed again on the secound print. one of the motors probably failed again or something like that.

Amasing service, after fault testing å bit with me they told me that they will ship me a new printer to exchange the existing printer.

that is fantastic, i expected i would have to ship my printer to them wait for repairs etc.

That is truly extraordinary customer service in my book. they just got a long term customer.

Ive never used the leapfrog printers, but it looks clear that this is a hardware issue doing with the X and Y movements. Either mechanical binding or electrical, you could try using different software to slice and interface with the printer but I expect to see similar results.

Try a different slicing software. Especially Simplify3d that you can buy from their site has some problems. (But is good overall)

Have you been playing around in the firmware? Motors are very reliable and I would doubt that any of your motors were broken to begin with. I understand you bought a printer that was suppose to be plug and play but your picture doesn't show anything broken. One motor is missing steps for either the accel being too high or some type of resistance on the axis causing it to miss steps for a certain amount and resume at an offset location. The print itself looks quite decent, no need to return the printer as the issues present are quite simple to fix.
