Hello All, I am building a RepRap Mendel. I bought all the PCBs from makerbot and all the components to populate them from Digikey, Mouser, etc. I have put all the PCBs (1 Motherboard, 1 Extruder, 3 Stepper Drivers, and 3 Opto-Endstops) together myself. Although I completely forgot that there were two different configurations and I ended up building the Makerbot configuration for all. Now, my question is that can I still make the Mendel work on this Makerbot configuration? since the only difference is a bunch of connectors and wires.Since I haven't taken a look at the programming aspect yet what I really want to know is that is the software designed for RepRap configuration only? Because if it isn't I don't want to spend time fixing it for no reason. A response would be greatly appreciated. Did you work out how to alter the .h file to run a stepper motor from the extruder? I'm struggling with this myself

I bought my Gen 3 electronics already assembled from MakerBot but will be making the necessary changes for the RepRap configuration. The software is the same except the MakerBot extruder uses a DC motor and the normal RepRep extruder a stepper.
