Hi, I'm hoping someone can give me some suggestions with the following. I'm trying to test my V1.2 motherboard (from Makerbot). I am pretty sure I have programmed it correctly & the LED now flashes once per second When I rum the Reprap program I see in the consol that it attempts to initialise the Arduino but this is followed by a string of 'Receive error, resending...' . The LED is flickering during this time. Eventually the Reprap program opens, but nothing works. If I open the serial monitor in the Arduino and press the restart button the motherboard responds with 'start', but won't listen to any commands I send it. I'm confused! The motherboard seems to be capable of receiving stuff (I managed to program it and can make the LED flicker) and I can listen to it (at least when it says 'start') but there is clearly a communications problem. I was using a Reprap program that I downloaded a few months ago, when I was trying to learn what Reprap was about. This appears not to be compatible with the controller firmware, as things seem better with the latest version.
