AFAIR, the most inportant point is filament cooling and spooling,
to get a constant filament density and diameter.
It's not as simple at it seems.

I was interested by the past and I saw a lot of videos and tutorials.
I noticed that filament machine builders,
still have commercial spools on the desktop,
even a long time after their build.
Maybe the process is not as cheap, or too long,
or the filament's quality is not as good as expected.

Any honnest feedback will be appreciated indeed.

Another thought, some manufacturer's filament quality
is not realy good even with regulated heavy filament winding machines
between $15.000 and $30.000.
Looking at those closed machines,
it looks like difficult to reach the same quality
with a two planks machine laying on our desktop corner.
