Hey guys. I've been printing pla for a little while, and attempted to use abs but when heating my bed I noticed it only got to 95C. I guess it may be possible to use abs with a 95C bed but from what I've heard about issues getting it to stick I decided to look for an alternative material. I'm mainly looking for a plastic that will flex a little, unlike pla. I saw that HIPS will print with a 90C to 110C bed and is supposedly similar to abs. I'm in the process of finding material information about it, but does anyone have experience with how it printed for you or what the physical properties are like? MANUALY tell the bed to heat up. I've wondered if my Hatchbox "HIPS for PLA" was bad and if I should try a different version.
