        <title>Herringbone gears - awesome!</title>
        <description> I thought I&#039;d have a go at designing my own extruder (yes, wheel re-invention, it&#039;s a weakness of mine), so I printed out a set of herringbone gears to play with. I&#039;m very impressed with the design on these, the fit and smoothness of the mesh is amazing. There seem to have been quite a few people involved over the years, so a big thank you to everyone that contributed. Finding little nuggets like this is a big part of the fun of getting involved in 3d printing :)</description>

Just salvaged these sexy little beasts, from an old lens focus assist, dont know how I can use them at the moment, but nice handy shafts with backlash adjustment. Cant fit them together in herringbone pattern though.]]></description>

There's actually quite a few but not many for 5mm shaft, and the part to mate it with isn't metal but I think they are too large for printer use.<br/>]]></description>
