Weird Firefox problem

Yesterday I replaced the DOCSIS 2.0 cable modem supplied by TWC for $10/mo with a DOCSIS 3.0 modem I purchased. After activating the modem, I suddenly have a weird problem accessing these forums in Firefox.

I have book-marked [forums.reprap.org] which works fine. If I click the "home" link at the upper left from any of the subforums, it takes me back to the home page as expected. If I click the large RepRap logo it takes me to [forums.reprap.org] and I get a "404 not found" error. Before I installed the new modem, it took me back to the home page.

I've tried it using Chrome and it works as expected- the RepRap logo link takes me back to the home page (and refreshes it).

Any ideas what Firefox does that's different? Maybe an IPV6 issue?

The second link has "ap_index" appended to it. A quick google shows people having that issue on different sites. Sounds like clearing caches etc in the browser should fix it.

No IPV6 for the forums... its all IPV4 (as far as I can tell, no AAAA records...)

Setup wireshark.
load the forum in firefox
start wireshark, set a host filter of 69.46.82.69 and start capturing

click on the reprap logo

Stop capture and examine the capture.
