i have installed a rotary encoder on my ramps1.4 with marlin firmware

does anyone knows how to stop te button on the encoder from going back and forth trough the menu?

ive searched the internet but i cant find a solution?</description>

            <description><![CDATA[ It sounds a bit like a problem that I had where the pullup resistors were not enabled. In my case it was for a back button but it gave a similar effect [<a href="https://reprap.org/forum/read.php?415,861144,861144#msg-861144" target="_blank" >reprap.org</a>]<br />

As I don't use Marlin any longer I can't check in which file you would need to enable the pullups.<br />
