What process should I use for a textured hard coating on tread plate I need a texture of 50-100 grit of say tungsten carbide or some super hard material for some nut shelling equipment. It must be a rough finish like sandpaper. The current method is a 2 wire spray, HAI 775 Ni. bond w/ HAI 595, but the coating is inconsistent, wears smooth and don’t last long approximately 150 hours.
