Hi Folks

I've just completed the mechanics of a Darwin RepStrap which was never completed and boxed up about 3 years ago.

I'm now at the point where I need to install the firmware for single Arduino control of generation 2 electronics. I've downloaded the firmware from github but when opening and then verifying the single Arduino file I get an error that "'ThermoplastExtruder' does not name a type", and when using the V2 firmware I get a similar issue with the snap.begin command ('snap' was not declared in this scope). I'm assuming that this is because I don't have all of the files in the correct library locations.

Can anyone give me some guidence? Does anyone remember how they got the firmware running back I the olden days of Darwins?

Thanks for reading

Hi,
Has anybody compiled hex single board RepRap controller with extruder? (generation 2 electronics, with single Arduino Duemilanove - ATmega168 16MHz)

Short story:
I bought everything about four years ago but I had no time in those times. I started to complete my RepRap (Darwin) about 3 weeks ago.
Everything is ready for use but I can't compile or I'm a muff and I can't find the right way. So can anybody help me?

I downloaded and tried:
- reprap-arduino-firmware-1.3
- arduino-1.0.4-windows
- eclipse with AVR and Arduino plugin

any help would be appreciated

I am trying to make the Squashed Frog part for Mendel.

Other wise know as the y-chassis.

Im not confident of the way I have retreved the external dimensions of this DXF file.

Its external dimensions seem to be 200mm X 148mm could some one confirm this please.

I have made one but it looks a little too small. Like the Frog needs to be longer than 200mm when offerd up to Mendel

Hello, I'm Erwin!

I assist Joost in building our own Cartesian prototyper called Richard (Dawkins).
Last week he posted a message with some pictures to show our progress.
Today we added the cross beams, an (alternative) idler/constraint bracket, the x carriage, and z studding ties. The components are made from aluminium and wood.

Find some new pictures attached!

Greetings,
