Hi everyone! I'm trying to buy my very first Prusa Mendel, but the site where I'm going to buy the kit from doesn't supply the smooth rods nor threaded rods. Unfortunately the country where I live (Guatemala) is quite small and I just called several steel providers here and I only found stainless steel 202 8mm smooth rods. Can anyone tell me if these will do? I've been looking into the properties, but can't remember the terms and values I was taught in class (I guess I need to re-study all of them :S). I was told they are not as effective as SS304 when it comes to corrosion... Any help would be greatly appreciated!
