        <title>Yet Another Crazy Idea: write circuits using lightscribe</title>

Surfing the web searching about ultracapacitors I stumbled with this:
Vimeo Graphene Ultracapacitor
and this
graphene-dvd-supercapacitor

Apart from the cheap ultraultracapacitor part wich is awesome per se, you can see on it they are coating a DVD with a mix of PET and graphite oxide and then drawing a pattern using LightScribe
This is a really cheap (about 50$ a DVD writer with LightScribe) and easy method for drawing a circuit I think.
Playing with patterns and materials maybe we can make it with resistors and (small) capacitors embedded and maybe even some simple logic gate.
If graphene is a too advanced for us maybe some chemist here can think about other some other cheap material.

Another iteration to the idea is to make layers as a microprocessor making:
Coat layer with material A
Write pattern A
Coat layer with material B
Write pattern B
???
Profit! Make your own stepper driver in few hours!

(I need to know if LightScribe always starts the draw at the same angle or if its random)


What do you think about that?
a) Impossible
b) Hard to do
c) Easy
d) I telled it to my 4yr old son and did it with kindergarden materials in 30 minutes...

P.D: I have no relation with HP, so ideas using other related systems such as DiscT@2, LabelFlash, LabelTag or similar are also welcome.</description>
