Perimeter loops ends

Hi
Im new to Skeinforge, and therefor dont know what to do at this point... I've got some pret nice 20x20x5mm test cubes by now..
BUT at every loop end on the outer shell (perimeter) I get an ugly missing piece of line... what I mean is when it goes from the outer to the second perimeter, I leaves a small hole in the wall... I tried to increase Jitter to 100, but now they just are all over the object.
Any setting to make them go away ?

EDIT:
Sorry but didnt take any pictures of it, will post some later today, after work

With this WOH of 1.6666, you are probably printing layers of 0,3 mm, aren't you ?

And, mmm, IMO empirically playing with the Filament packing density is not very precise.

I'd rather measure the actual length of your most often used plastic type (PLA or ABS) when doing a "extrude 100mm" command at an average extruding speed, with your hotend properly heated etc to mimic the actual printing behaviour as much as possible - and ajust the firmware e_steps value accordingly.
Then switch to your less often used plastic type, redo the measuring and remember the ratio of difference (if any) for use as the FPD when needed.

First: you are aware that the picture is showing the side of the cubes ? so the lines on the side on this picture is my Raft leftovers

But my nozzle is 0.5
and its puting out 0.58 in diameter when testing it at slooooooooooow speeds in free air.
my width over height is 1.67 (should be this number AFAIK)

But I have ajusted my Filament Packing Density variable under Dimension
It should be 0.8 for ABS, but I found that 1.15 gives me the best infill..at 0.8, its putting out way to much filament

So, being curious, have you managed to improve your prints regarding the wall-holes issue ?

Also from looking at your parts pictures, I believe you have whether a Z and/or E steps_per_mm issue, or you are trying to print using layers heights larger than what your nozzle can properly do.
What hints me in this idea is the way we can clearly see a round section of the deposited filament in your walls, if deposited properly if should be far less noticeable (nearly flat wall).

My outer perimeters are printed at 20 to 60 mm/s depending on the object.

But my non printing moves are always 150mm/s - I could probably push it more but didn't take the time to test it. The machine is a Prism Mendel.
I Believe those non printing moves speed is one key that avoid blobs on the surface (I also use a lil retraction).

IMO, you should try to disable clip, and see if that improves your hole-in-the-wall problem.
If blobs appears instead, you could still enable Clip back and try to set it up properly by trial and error.

Yes but with nowadays machines speeds it's becoming useless and a possible source for problem like yours if not properly set up.

I have it disabled, never felt a need for it - retraction and "fast" print speed is reducing blobing enough for me.

Possible helps :

In the "Fill" module, choose "Thread sequence" as "Loops > Perimeter > Infill" (will make the inside perimeters printed before the outer one, not sure if will help).

Disable the "Clip" module if it's on. (I feel that might be the source of your problem).
