SOLVED Stepper motor too slow

I have Prusa mendel built some time ago.
Arduino + ramps 1.4 + a4988, wades extruder, marlin
Currently my extruder is working ok, but it is set to full step, loud and not precise
When I'm setting to 1/16 on ramps, stepper is turning werrry slow.
Question: If I will adjust pots on driver, will motor spin faster?
I understand that I will need to adjust steps per mm.
But this will be after getting stepper to spin in correct speed

Motor info:

NEMA 17 Stepper Motor Model 17HS19-1684S - Specifications
Frame size 42 x 42mm - NEMA 17
1.8 degree step angle
Length 47mm
Holding torque 44 N.cm (4.4kg.cm, 62oz.in)
Voltage 2.8V
Current/Phase 1.68A
Resistance/Phase 1.65ohm
Inductance/Phase 2.8mH
Inertia 68g.cm
Bipolar, 4-wire
Weight 0.35kg
Step Angle Accuracy ±5%（full step,no load)
Resistance Accuracy ±10%
Inductance Accuracy ±20%
Temperature Rise 80℃Max.(rated current,2 phase on)
Ambient Temperature -10℃-+50℃
Insulation Resistance 100MΩMin. 500VDC
Dielectric Strength 500VAC for one minute
Shaft Radial Play 0.02Max.(450 g-load)

Did some troubleshooting: connected extruder motor to x axis driver witch is 1/16 micro stepping.motor spins ok
with my lcd controller i found Vmax X and Y are 500 but Vmax E is 25.
Is it ok or this needs to be changed??

@didzix how did you set 1/16 micro stepping on ramps ? will you please explain ? and does microstepping decreases layer height ?

any help appreciated !! thanks

Changing a stepper motor from full step to 1/16 micro stepping will make the motor run slower, since it's still getting the same number of steps. At 1/16, it takes 16 times as many steps to make one complete rotation than it does at full stepping.
