I am in need of a x carriage/mount for a bondtech BMG and BLTouch sensor.I have looked around everywhere with no luck. There are quite a dew with either the BlTouch mount missing or the X carriage is too deep and will hit the frame. The X carriage needs to be able to zip tie the bearings in place so that it will not hit the frame. There are two different mounts on thingiverse that I like but they need to be modified to work.Let me know if you are interested in doing this for me and how much it would be.Thanks

What would it cost to have someone design/print a 3d printable version of the inner workings of the fork clamp of this bike rack:

I'll get pics of the part itself once I have it apart, but as far as I can tell, they are cylinders that are threaded on the inside to meet up with a tightening wheel in the middle. The problem is that they've stripped out, so they no longer clamp the bicycle's fork, keeping it steady as the car is traveling down the road.

Thule doesn't manufacture this carrier anymore, and this break is common. The threads need to be able to take some abuse, as they're bearing the weight of the clamp, which is holding the bike steady in winds.

I´m familiar with Autocad, Sketchup, milling/engraving/laser gcode creation and parsing, Arduino programming, have built a few robots and lots of other stuff, and i have the necessary equipment. CNC mill, lathe, laserplotter, multicolor and multimaterial printers, diagnostic tools, ...

If just a hotend holder or a complete cnc-machine, i make dreams come true for small money.
You´ll find more information about my projects and references on my homepage, see signature.
some of the files can fit in the build area but the base is not flat so, it will require cutting in half for a better print quality.
please contact me with your price after you check the files, some of them require no cutting its just i didn't want to delete them from the zip file.

I'm new to 3-D scanning and printing, and so far have a setup that can scan full bodies and print to max size of 20 x 20 x 25 cm on our rep-rap based printer we purchased out of China.

I'd like have help designing and building printers that can print much larger sizes - perhaps even as large as a full human, or at least as large as torso. Having more than two colors would also be preferable.

We have a large CNC router table here, and will eventually build a laser cutting table, so the frame and some other parts can easiliy be cut here.

From what I understand we'd need help with redesigning hardware and perhaps doing some alterations to Cura or other software. I'd also like help sourcing whatever hardware and electorinics that we can't make in-house from suppliers in China or wherever it is least expensive. I'm also not averse to making some electronics in house.

I'd like to build many of these larger machines.

I'd love to pay someones airfare to come out here and work and play using my budget. All expenses paid and then some. We have a great 4 story shop here, and many fun toys to play with, including a woodworking shop. There is even a possibility for a little profit sharing if we sell some of these larger printers.

Or if someone wants to contribute but does not want to fly out to Indonesia (on our dime) then I could send you a finished printer in return for your help.

Dieses Bauteil wäre das: [github.com] / wade-big.stl (ohne dem Wade Gehäuse, nur das kleine Gegenstück brauche ich)

Danke schonmal,

I'm interested in getting quotes related to a project that I'm working on using the RAMPS 1.4 electronics. What is needed is firmware that will function the same as Marlin / Sprinter, with the exception of the extruder E0 / E1 outputs. The output will need to be modified so that when the extrusion event occurs, the outputs will be +12VDC, and when the extrusion event ends, the output should be at 0VDC.

The extruder outputs E0 and E1 will need to function independently from one another, but with the same output requirements as described above.

Please send a PM to me with the time and cost for this project.
Thanks,

Hello, I am new to this group. I am thinking of getting a 3d printer to make a product I am launching. I hope this is the correct forum for this, I apologise if it is not.

I was hoping that I may find someone who lives in the Bristol area who may have some experience with 3d printing, who owns a printer and who would be interested in a) helping me choose / set up a printer for my product and b) print a few prototypes so I can be sure this is the correct route to go with my product.
I am happy to pay the going rate for the models made and would be happy to reimburse time and expenses for any consultation.
Would be great if the model could be animated to move in the correct way. Technically the model does not have to be too sophisticated, just a model that will demo the basic principle and cinematics.

Hi all,..

I'm new to this community, based in the UK, and I've registered as I am looking for someone to design us a plastic case for an electronic product.
I have "pen sketched" drawings, and a Huxley, but we don't have a 3D designer on board.

I have commercial quotes, but thought I would also throw it open to the community here, as the design work here is impressive.

I need a quote for a 2 piece case to specification (will be measuring about 80mmx60mmx10mm), has radiused edges, with some internal mounts and a compartment for a battery. I'd also like one supplied (3D printed). The design needs to be suitable for injection moulding or vacuum forming.
I am not an expert in these areas, so we need someone who has some experience of manufacture.

I am sure the skills are here to do it, if you could PM me a price and where I can find an example of your work. I am not looking for the cheapest designer I can get, but I need a timescale within a couple of weeks.

Please PM me, and I'll drop to email, it's fully funded, so I just need to find someone to do it.

best regards,

Good Day guys,

My Name is hector I’m new to the Reprap community, even I'm going nuts to buy and build a 3D printer, i won’t have the time to do so, since i got a production to finish and I’m 10 behind. Why?

Well i own a computer company, we only do wholesale, we buy, off lease (used) Desktop/ Workstations computers, LCD monitor and Notebooks. Most of the times our clients ask us to refurbish them. We bought 200 Mini Notebooks for one client and we found that around 50 of them are missing the battery release but, or battery latch.
I already have created the Parts in Google Sketch up, and I can transfer them to DWG (AutoCad).

They are small parts, about 6mm-W x 17mm-L x 4mm-H. Please see attach pix , since the latch has 2 small pressure post that clips in to the pivot that locks the battery I need them to be print in the best resolution in black color. Please send me your post with your quote, and delivery time. I will prefer someone with sales records on eBay. I will paid next day delivery via fedex for sample proof before you start production, and yes, if we get in to an agreement i will place a deposit and the rest of the payment once the sample are tested and approve.

Thanks in advance, hope you can help me.

Best Regards,
P.S. I sell computers, So i got Desktops C2D 2 Dell Brand custom config(memory and HDD size you'll Like), and we have 4 HP WorkStation C2D That are excelent for CAD work. I got 19" "B" Grade LCD monitors ("B" small dark spot on screeen) at very low cost and also i got 22" LCD "B" Grade at excelent Price, you let me know maybe we can exchange.

On my understanding the nozzle diameter it is a balance between the growing speed (per layer) and the level of desired detail. Yes, I am a beginner and I am trying to figure out how to do the correct selection for building my first Prusa. Do you have any documentation about the best practices in order to select the best size according to the required application?.
Anyway the nozzle does not look as a interchangeable part without the rest of the hot end.
I read that it is better begin with the bigger one 0.5mm; and just after doing some good jobs with that, test the smaller ones 0.35mm and 0.25mm. And they say that it is more difficult start with the smaller ones. It sound obvious because it is easier melt through a bigger hole. But that it is not related with the printing goal itself.
I have also a similar doubt about of the diameter of the filament (3mm or 1.75mm) that implies to change the extruder kit also? How to select it?
Sorry for my English (it is not my first language)

Hi guys,
I'm looking for a part to be designed & printed. I was hoping someone here would be up to the challenge. :)

What I need is one of these "Self reversing screws":

This is to be a component in a pet project of mine, making a mechanism for a hose reel that layers the hose neatly as it winds in.

The bar should be approx 25mm diameter, thread depth of 4 mm, width 4mm, with one turn every 12mm. The screw should be 400mm long (two smaller sections that fit together may be easier to print) with the centre 300mm threaded & 50mm on each end left blank. The rod should have a 10mm hole in the centre for a threaded bar for fixing & strengthening purposes. Take special note of how the thread ends & reverses on the link above!

Budget is "as little as possible",.. but obviously I don't expect anything for free.

I understand the thread may be a little rough from the printing process, but would hope that it could be cleaned up with a file (Print the walls thick please!)

This is the most complex part of my reel, so I'm willing to adjust the rest of the design to make the production of this part a possibility, or at least easier.

Let me know what you can do. :)

I'm trying to start a worker controlled company. I currently don't have money to pay wages, but in the near future I might have some, not much, but might be enough to pay what someone in a very poor country might be interested in. So I was just thinking, maybe there's someone out there who lives in a poor country or something, and can get by on very little money, who'd like to help me get this thing going.

Once up and running, it'll be like owning your own company, each person having control over a portion of the companies money, able to spend that money on the company, in whatever why they see fit. Also have some control of your own time, to direct it into projects you feel are important and stuff.

It'll be a lot like owning your own company, only without all the stress.

Anyone out there interested?

Think back of a turbofan (jet engine). Will need design work done and a couple printed parts. This is a good opportunity for a grad-student to make some money.

budget: $200 USD payable upon proof of completion.

deliverables: design files and 2 prototypes

The ideal candidate will be able to provide a reference (preferably from a professor) and will be able to offer some paid consulting helping us set-up our own 3D printer. We anticipate needing design work down the road.

need: high power LED placement array + anciliaries (2 replies)

I have the "design" drawn out on a napkin (yeah, yeah) I hear you say

Am looking for a designer who'll work with me to create a LED array (placement + drill pattern) so I can create any sized array of high power LED's

This is primarily a design and initial print of at least 3, maybe 4 different parts each will interlock to produce the overall design and be expandable both X and Y axis

Would I like to "own" the overall design (of course) but you'd get the initial profits from the initial design... I would be open to myself having exclusive access to the design for x amount of time as well which I would hope will reduce overall design/printing costs

Let me know if you're intersted (and what you're likely to charge either by the hour or by the job)

Andy

ps, I'm located in USA (Atlanta) and have no problem purchasing printer to make my own "prints" if I get to own the design....

Ankle 9V battery compartment (10 replies)

Hello! I am in the process of designing a "wearable lighting system", and I need to have a place to attach a 9V battery where it will be secure and preferably water-proof. The attached picture is a concept i was thinking of, but of course its still rough. Anyone out there have 3D design capabilities to make it? The idea is to use this "lighting system" to light up the path while running in the dark at night. I just went on a run and twisted my ankle because of a good-for-nothing rock! Ouch! So this is my crazy solution! (:P)

For whoever helps and get this things just right, i will return the favor by sending them a printed copy of it in black or natural PLA. Maybe some cash, if we work something out first.

The requirements are:
-Must be able to hold a standard 9V battery securely inside a compartment
-Must have eye loops on either side for attaching a strap
-Must be ergonomic so it will be comfortable to wear just above your ankle as shown in the poorly drawn pictures

Other than this, please be creative! Thank you! :)
