Thanks for your input and keeping us updated about more industrial equipment. Hard to find non-corporate infos on those..

Do you know what is used in your piezo dispenser? What piezo and what mechanical amplifier?
No chance a light, more crude version could be somewhat affordable?

What solenoid valve does your pneumatic piston use?

... the thin-sheet actors are not "strong" enough to push the fluid directly ... but could be redesigned for different behaviour.

The "clamped" bimorph stacks are known as "torque-drive"-actuators - I have a tweezer with this type of PZT-actuator, which can open/close the tweezer with 300µm moving range and frequenzies of some Kilohertz ... but not cheap enough for DIY neither :(

Actually I have another "pulsing" paste-dispenser for testing, where the piston is moved per pneumatic -- some hundred Hertz, end customer price maybe around 1000 €uros ...

Hi Viktor,
I was reading your other posts about your piezo dispenser.

Do you think some form of DIY version is feasible?

This simple bimorph piezo actuator costs 20$:

Here is another one with an amplified motion mechanism:
