I have a 32v 2 amp power supply from an HP printer. Not for the main RAMPS power, but is the higher voltage useful for the hot end or heated bed? 1. 32V is too high for many of the components on the board. eg: A498x driver chips are only rated to 30V max, and I wouldn't personally go over 27V. Admittedly the heated bed input isn't connected to the motor circuits, but the hot end one is.

2. 2A is too low for much of the electronics, even if the extra voltages does "supposedly" make up for it in power. A 12V heated bed uses about 11A at 12V. This comes in at about 130-135W of power. The voltage required for 135W just using 2A is 67.5V (over double that of your supply)!! Also, you'd require a specially made bed to use that voltage (or even 32V) to avoid it drawing too much power.
