Motors make loud buzzing noise and wont turn.

So I am setting up my CoreXY build and the motors will not turn.. When I try to move them using Repetier Host, all that happens is they make a loud buzzing noise and vibrate. I have Vref set 0.8 V, which I would think is enough.

Here are the motors I am using: [www.ebay.com]

I am using DRV8825 drivers in a RAMPS 1.4 with Marlin.

Both motors do the same thing. and the z motor just doesn't move at all.

Any ideas what is wrong?

Thanks.

I didn't use extension cables., but I'll double check that because I think they wiring for my new motors is slightly different than the previous ones (which moved, albeit very roughly).

You might have the wrong connection order when you soldered your own extension cables?
For your RAMPS it is
2B 2A 1A 1B.

But your motors are

Quote

PIN1= B-
•PIN3= B
•PIN4= A
•PIN6= A-

So you should try
2B = B-
2A = A-
1A = A
1B = B
