Repetier FW 9.1 -> SD init fail Ich habe ein Ramps 1.4 mit einem [url=http://reprap.org/wiki/RepRapDiscount_Smart_Controller]RepRapDiscount LCD[/url], mit SD Karte. Mit der Repetier FW 8.3 ließ sich die SD Karter einwandfrei benutzen. (schreiben, löschen, drucken) Nach dem Umstieg auf Repetier FW 0.91 bekomme ich nur noch -> "SD Card inserted" & "SD init fail" als Schleife. Wenn ich die SD ziehe, läuft alles wie gewohnt. Ich verwende natürlich die gleiche SD Karte, bei beiden Versuchen. also ich nutze eine 4GB SD (war beim Raspi dabei), eine Partition mit 4GB und Fat32 formatiert und ich spiele die Files mit meinem MBP drauf. Ratzfatz.
Achja, Kabel zum Display sind bei mir 40 cm lang, leider stört´s das Display etwas, aber die Karte läuft, habe da schon mit gedruckt.

Da es dazu nicht sehr viel Information gibt, hier meine Lösung:
1. Partition muss < 2GB und FAT 16 formatiert sein, Typ primary partition.
2. Die Karte muss SPI Mode unterstützen (Kingston Karten funktionieren nicht).

Eine Samsung 4GB Karte läuft nun bei mir mit einer Partition von 1,8GB (habe die Hälfte der Kapazität genommen, ev. würde es auch mit einer grösseren Partition funktionieren).

Das ganze erinnert einen daran, dass es sich hier um fossile Technologie handelt, Filename Format 8.3 ist wohl nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäss, muss jedoch eingehalten werden, sonst funktioniert der Upload auf die Karte nicht.
Die Übertragung erfolgt seriell, ein 3MB File benötigt 2Min 30s.

Immerhin, es funktioniert.

Verwende Ramps 1.4, repetier FW0.91, Auswahl im Repetier configuration Tool: RepRap Full Graphic Smart Controller. Habe zwei verschiedene Karten getestet 4GB Kingston mit FAT16 und eine 16GB SanDisk mit FAT32. Sobald die Karte eingesetzt wird erscheinen die init failed Meldungen.
Hat schon jemand eine Lösung?

Habe auch ein anderes ramps und einen anderen arduino mega probiert. Ohne erfolg... Display habe ich leider nur einen...

Daher würde ich nach einer anderen Firmware suchen, nicht nach einer anderen Hardware.
Ich drucke mit der "alten" Version 0.83 mit SD, wogegen ich es (siehe Thred Anfang/- Eröffner) mit der 0.91 (auf Arduino Mega mit RAMPS 1.4) nicht geschafft habe. Das LCD funktioniert tadellos, nur die sd cart nicht.
Was mir noch aufgefallen ist, wenn ich den Drucker über usb angeschlossen habe ,eine Sd im LCD Controller eingesteckt habe,kann ich im Repetier
host über das Sd Menü eine Aktuelle Datei hochladen. Ab dann fängt der Drucker an aufzuheizen und Startet dann einen Druck. Aber so langsam das er ca. alle 3 Sekunden einen Schritt macht.(Buffer Anzeige am LCD max 5) sobald ich das Usb Kabel ausstecke, bleibt er stehen? Bei Drucken über UsB sind es mind Buffer 16 .
Schön langsam habe ich keine Lust mehr, gibt es vielleicht eine Sichere Steuerung evt. Rumba oder ein bestimmtes Ramp wo das Drucken über SD cart geht?

Im Repetier Host wird sie auch erkannt, im SD -Karten Menü wird das Symbol Datei hochladen und Neues Verzeichnis schwarz, aber keine Datei erkannt.

Ich habe eine CnMemory SDHC Karte mit 8GB. :S Mit der alten Firmware geht sie super mit der Neuen nicht zu lesen. Also kann man es scheinbar nicht an der Marke festmachen. Ich bleibe wohl bei der alten Firmware. Leider fehlt da die Fortschrittsanzeige noch.

Bei mir tritt das Problem auch auf. Mit 0.83 läuft es. Die SD Karte wird erkannt und ich kann die Dateien sehen und nutzen. Wenn ich Firmware 0.91 Revision 7 oder älter drauf spiele, wird erkannt das eine SD-Karte eingelegt wird, aber er findet keine Dateien. Die Konfiguration ist bei den Versionen gleich.
