Hi, I am new to reprap and I have been trying to assemble one for myself. Everything seems to go well except for the extruder. No matter what I change DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT to, I keep getting the same measurement. What firmware are you using and do you have eeprom enabled. If eeprom is enabled, the values stored there will be used regardless of what you change the code to. Usually, though, there are commands available to change the steps/millimeter on the fly and then store those new values into eeprom.
