My nozzle is grinding into previous layers. and wavy lines especially first layer

Leadscrew driven system prusa calculator says 4000

0.8 pitch m5 (is all m5 same pitch)
1:1 gear ratio (What is this)

If I set 4000 in firmware Z drives very fast and will lock up with high pitch sound when try homing, I wanted to try the repetier firmware it&#039;s not working like the marlin the config.h</description>

(No wonder you're hitting previous layers.)<br />

The speed should be the same whatever the Steps per unit.<br />

Have you tried just moving z and measuring it?<br />
