        <title>Slic3r not reading Bobcad/cam .stl files</title>
        <description> I transfered my first .stl. It prints the first hole then stops..
im not sure what im doing wrong...it shows up fine on my cad software....is there another file slic3r will read? or pronterface?
I posted the file here in case some one has an idea.</description>

            <description><![CDATA[ Well i have tried about everything, it almost seems if slicer and printerface have problems reading binary .stls ive tried everything i know of....and i cannot get them to read my .stls properly. I check them and they show fine in multiple programs....]]></description>

Legion99999 The two types of stl's are binary and ascii which netfabb fixes both of. You could try opening the file with ReplicaotrG and resave it, this will give you an ascii file and then try uploading it to netfabb. If that does not work you can try using meshlab to resave it as a binary file and try uploading it to netfabb again. If those don't work you could try exporting it as another format and then use meshlab to convert it to an stl. (meshlab is free).<br />
