        <description> I was going through my old pictures, and found these, dated 15th August 2013:

This is pretty much the first recognisable Ormerod. It&#039;s what RS saw, and then ordered 500 for Christmas! It was before we even had the Duet, so the electronics were a Melzi board.

Could you offer some insight into why the design progressed from this, to what it is now? Is that a threaded rod on the back of the x-axis? Why did you change the X from wood to acrylic?<br />
