This months Baltimore/Washington area RepRap Users Group meeting will be Tuesday, April 29, 2008 from 7 PM - 9 PM. We will gather in Room 114, Smith Hall of Art, George Washington University 801 22nd St NW, Washington, DC 20037. For those of you who missed our last meeting, the reason for the change of venue is that this is the time and place for the monthly meeting of Dorkbot DC a group devoted to cutting edge and DIY electronics. Sounds like our kind of folks eh? Plus as a special added bonus slice o' coolness our own Jay Swift (Tom's little brother) will be presenting, and I quote: * Jay Swift * : Bringing Up Darwin The second in our continuing presentations on the RepRap project's (http://tinyurl.com/56sr5p) plan for world domination and the good people that are making that possible, Jay--a member of the Baltimore/Washington RepRap Users' Group (http://forums.reprap.org/list.php?39)--will have us oohing and ahhing as he shows us his neonatal Darwin 1.0 and tells us where RepRaps come from. So I hope as many folks as possible will be there to give Jay our support, moral or otherwise, and generally help create the illusion that we can live up to that kind of press. I will be driving from my place in Baltimore, and will be willing to give a ride to anyone crazy enough to trust their fate to the combination of my navigational ability and Mapquest.
