Mounting ballscrew & SBR12UU to 2060

I am going to update my Z-axis.
Currently I am using 2x MGN12 rails with one SFU1204 Ballscrew.
I had to print the bracket to mount everything together and my bed on occasion still staggers (I assume that I am not 100% aligned...).

I decided to change my MGN12 rails and blocks for SBR12 with SBR12UU blocks, apparently my ballscrew housing would match the height of the SBR12UU blocks.

My question is are there premade plate to mount the blocks (SBR12UU and SFU housing) aluminium extrusion (I am using 2060 or other).

Thanks you

The bed frame of my test setup is a simple ' |_| ' shape, but it would be better to constrain the ends from rotating around 'Z'. Like a V-roller running in openbuild-extrusion.
But a closed rectangle as bed frame with solid corner brackets and a stiff connection to the mgn12-carrier would be good enough, too.

Hi o_lampe,

Can you post more pictures of the contact between the outermost bed end and the uprights of your parallel bar method. Is the bed contacting the uprights with a slightly compliant joint (i.e. printed) to stop radial movement about the singular linear rail?

No matter if you use mgn12 or SBR12 guides, I recommend trying the parallel bar method. It stabilizes a cantilevered bed pefectly.

I'm pretty sure that would be a step in the wrong direction. The MGN handles higher loads than the SBR. The MGN will also hold greater positional accuracy. The last benefit is that the MGN is the smallest. You can always switch to an EGR, HGR, RGR, or even the new CGR.
