Hello, I just have finished to build a reprap prusa mendel tricolour (kit from reprappro). For now I just concentrate in single extruder printing. Please take a look at the picture attached to this post. What could cause the gaps between layers? How could I correct this? Also I have a 0.5mm nozzle, i it possible to reduce the layer height? carve settings:
edge Width over Height ratio = 1.8
Extra decimal Places float = 2.0
Import Coarseness ration = 1.0
Layer height mm = 0.4
layers from index = 0
Layers to index 912345678
mesh type = Correct Mesh

inset setings:
Infill in direction of Bridge = ticked
Infill Width over Thickness ratio = 1.65
Loop Order Choice = Ascnding area
Overlap Removal Width over Perimeter Width ratio = 0.6
Volume fraction ration = 0.82

...

There are tones of parameters, I do not know where to start
