Nozzles and pursa.

Hello,

I am atm doubting with Pursa I2 and I3,
wich i should buy,
The shop in my neighbourhood has the I2, and will have the I3 but he isnt sure yet about it.
So should i go with a I2 or is a I3 realy better?

Also my question is, what is better 0.35 or 0.5 as a nozzle diameter ?
Imo i rather have a precision then a fast product, so i think 0.35?

I heard 0.5 is normaly stronger ?

thanks guys!

if your deciding to print with abs, i would print with pla first as i am going to do before considering abs, and fans aint hard to come by i salvaged a couple from old bits and bats

Well compareable,
The makerfarm is aprox 450 euro, with shipping 500 euro aprox

The other one from england is 580 euro, with shipping probably 620-640 and then with taxes probably around 700 euro,

Well tho makerfarm still needs a PSU and glass and fillement,
But someone named Charlies 3D technologies is in Belgium, and has cheap shipping, so i probably will buy those things from him
Its due his printer is still the I2, doesnt has the rods, PSU, glass, fillement, thats why i lean more to the makerfarm side, even tho its america and i am afraid how the taxxes will turn out.

So long story short, I think the makerfarm is probably the best choice no?

Well the mendel seems also great, But more money, and you get a little less then Makerfarm (the LCD and SD reader)
thanks for the help guys ^^

i2, i3, or Mendel90 (i recommend the Mendel90 kit by Nophead, it looks like a lot of people are having good luck with it ) will be fine, ultimately, you'll most likely be happy with whichever one you get. I have a Budaschnozzle hot end, and to switch nozzles, it's simple, just unscrew the nozzle and replace with a different sized one- no need to remove the entire hot end. I've only had experience with the Budaschnozzle, but I'm sure other hot ends have similar features.

I started printing with a .5mm nozzle, which wasn't bad to start with; in my opinion I feel like starting out with .5mm is a good way to jump in, I just feel like it's easier to get first layers to stick with it. Later down the road you can swap to a .35mm nozzle easily and start playing around to get it working with the knowledge and know-how from troubleshooting the .5mm nozzle.

Imo i like the boxs more,

If you want you could even drill em, and get your cabels through em,
An i bet they are more stable/straight.

Anyhow

Is it able to have like 2 extruders nozzles that you can switch?
Else i might buy now a 0.35 for being fine,
And if i ever need a 0.5 for more strong stuff, i can.

If you cant, i will still keep the 0.35
Imo quality is above productivity ^^ atleast when you arent a businiss or anything.

Btw is there a big diffrence between I2 and I3 when talking about Product quality/printing
I do think the I3 probably needs alot less caliberation tho.

Thanks for the advice!.
Greats,
