M107 should turn off extruder fan but dosen&#039;t. Any advice?

            <description><![CDATA[ my extruder has two fans the extruder fan and the extrusion melt fan under the nozzle... i want to turn that off because my print room is 10 degrees. m107 works given where the extrusion fan is plugged in.]]></description>

            <description><![CDATA[ SteveRoy is correct but understand that if you make your extruder fan controllable and accidently print with it off you risk ruining your hotend and possibly even the extruder.]]></description>

I'm not printing yet, just working my way through the setup and trying to absorb as much info as I can along the way. Consequntly I'm sitting around playing with (working on) the printer that is powered up with fan running. So I became curous about how I could independantly control it. <br />
What is PSU? Power Supply Unit??<br />
I've attached an image from the RepRap site that show where I connected the fan.<br />

You should never really turn of the Extruder fan but just to try a trouble shoot this how is it connected to the Ramps (I Am assuming now that it is ramps?)<br />
<br />
I suspect you have it connected to the PSU Input so g-codes won't have any effect on it if that is so.<br />
