Most suppliers send regular SS rods which are not g6, h6 class. You have to replace them with proper hardened steel rods designed for.

I did that on my Geetech, plus made a pair a bearing holders for one rod to give some tension with some flexibility to avoid binding and therefore marring the ball/rod. Two rods plus two set of bearing means the system is overconstrained and as the frame is not really rigid you can't have a perfect alignment of the rods that will last.

On X and Z as they are most probably under tension, therefore less play thus less noise.

Maybe the stepper driver is applying too much voltage, this is a reason for noisy operation.
