Have you tried to increase current by decreasing the PS voltage?
I solved all problems in my LCD with this simple procedure.

I have the same problem!
I have a Prusa i3 Reprap 3D Printer, and whenever the print starts, the blue screen appears.
Sometimes starnge caracthers appear.
I changed the connectors several times, but the problem continues.
If anybody has a hint, I will be very pleased.

Thanks for that I loaded the firmware and the reprap still has just the blue screen so I started changing connector upside down side to side still only blue screen at one point I did have the beep when pushing the button thanks for the help I think I'm going to buy another one and try again

Provided configs for 02010000 ie 2.1.0.0 So you need to use this with marlin version [github.com]

Using the provided Configuration.h on this version of marlin builds without any issues

But..

You say you have rambo 1.3, and the provided configs has #define MOTHERBOARD BOARD_RAMPS_14_EFB

A Ramps 1.4 is not the same as a Rambo 1.3 in particular it has IO pins of a higher number that the mega2560 under the ramps does not have.

Setting the following also builds*

#define MOTHERBOARD BOARD_RAMBO

*To support this controller you need to install special board software under arduino ide see [reprap.org]
Or use Platformio under vscode which installs it for you.

Where are these instructions your following?

Sorry I have a taz5 with a rambo 1.3l motherboard, the controller on it has problems with the knob jumping from one to another in the menu so it came with a RRD full graphics lcd smart controller l purchased the adapter and tried to follow the instructions on the lulzbot website and every time I run comply it has errors I've tried everything I can think of Thanks
