Is it possible to increase printing speed in a 3D printer based on Marlin?

I thought speed was a matter of whether use or not a32 bit mother board.
But recently I heard somebody to say that it is a restriction of Marlin.
Is it true?

Yes, you can increase printing speed on a Marlin-based 3D printer by adjusting settings like print speed, travel speed, and acceleration in the firmware or slicer. Upgrading hardware, like using a better hot end or stepper motors, also helps. Just keep in mind that going too fast can affect print quality and may cause layer shifts or missed steps, so it’s a balance between speed and precision.

I've been talking with the main developer for FT-MOTION input shaping in Marlin and he recommends "a board with an FPU, like SKR3 or Octopus Pro with the H7 MCU"

You need good input shaping for higher speed printing.

But here is an example he posted of a 14:12 min benchy on Marlin with his latest FT-MOTION code, and unlike more extreme speed benchy it still looks like a benchy! . (his hotend is now his limit)
