PTFE and PEEK suppliers

Hi all,
Where are people getting the PTFE rod and PEEK blocks (depending on requirements) from in NZ. Not that i need it now, but if I am going to experiment with hot ends and various approaches to extruders than I may need to locate a source for at least PTFE rod.

Cheers

> Hi
> I purchased some PTFE rod from Engineering
> Plastics Limited EPL( since then they have changed
> their name) , they couried overnight cut length of
> dia 16 PTFE. New company name Dotmar

I got a quote from DotMar, and they were asking for a lot for such a small piece. Do not go with PTFE, PEEK better.

If it is for your thermal break, why not consider BakeLite, it is so cheap, you can buy a frying pan, or saucepan, for its handle and the rest for something else later on.

I am using said plastic for my 3D printer and all tests I have done have passed.
