Modeller - gives shape and geometrical definition after spec - I would more or less define it as a service job as ist just modelling

Designer - creates specification ( more or less set by a (hand made) prototype) afterwards more administrative work regaring the resulting product and keeping it close to spec

Artist - both of them fading duties ..
