I didn't realize what the wood mounting where for when i ordered my parts. Now makerbots is out.

Now i have a assembled hot end and wades extruder(allong with the rest of the prusa).

Is there any make shift way to attach it, or do i have to search for a place that sells the two pieces of wood i need?

What stores sell just the pieces of wood.

Also i am in a dorm. I have no construction tools just wrenches, knife and the epoxy that i made it with.

They only way i could make it is by cutting 10+ plastic plates and epoxying them together. Would that work?

Normally i would just wait but i want to print something before the end of the semester in 3 weeks.

Do you have a picture of your setup?

I'm assuming that what you are referring to is a groove-mount for the extruder hot end? IF you want a temporary/permanent alternative, and assuming you can get your hands on a drill for a couple of minute, you can drill four (4) 3.5 mm holes through the extruder at the base, where the hot end thermal barrier inserts into the extruder body, and use four (4) 4mm set screws to clamp the hot end. It does not need to be very tight, just a little tight is enough.
