Mummy model

Hi,

My young son bough a nice little sarcophagus,with a removable cover, and asked my to print him a mummy to put inside. But I don't have any skill to design such thing!

Does anyone know where I can find a stl model? Or maybe a way to design it from some datas or so?

I don't think this would be too hard. You could grab a posable human model for Blender. Maybe like this one [www.blendswap.com]

Pose it with the arms crossed over the chest and export the .stl.

Blender isn't easy to learn, but all you're doing is loading the file, posing the rig, and exporting it.

If you're able to print it standing up, the layers will approximate the mummy's wrappings and look pretty cool. Post a pic if you get it.

There is an open source human modeling software called Make Human

You can use it to model any feature (gender, age, weight, height, build, etc.) I think you will find what you need there. Just please don't make a Bre mummy

This is cool! I downloaded Make Human and I was disappointed to find out that it won't run on Mac OS X 10.5.8, contrary to what it said on the website.
