less support material

hi, i have SF41 and i would like to somehow reduce or ''thin out" the support material.
i have found it to be very difficult to remove sometimes.
i was thinking about unchecking support cross hatch.
otherwise my settings are:
1.0
1.0
everywhere
60.0

orca3, .35 nozzle, .26 layer, abs
or, should i update my SF and pronterface?
what do u guys think?

Try reducing the flow rate for support in Raft. My support flow rate is currently at 70% of normal flow rate, and it has helped a lot. I may try lower, but the vest flow rate may depend on layer thickness. It's a place to start experimenting, anyway.

I do a lot of printing with support. This is what works best for my printers.

Crosshatch off

Flow rate should be .8 (anything less has trouble sticking to the bed and does not break away in large pieces, anything more is just harder to remove)

Interface (or base, don't remember which it is) Density should be about 50% for best results (Lower density will take less time but things tend to sag more)

Support gap should be -.3 (yes, negative)
