Any plans to go...I am in Texas and plan on going, would love to exhibit a working Reprap.

if you'd like a working reprap that soon, your best bet for getting off the ground quickly is going with some sort of prefab 3 axis mill and adding steppers. then slap on our boards and an extruder and you're good to go. the extruder is fairly easy to make out of mdf and can even be milled.

one interesting idea is trying the route of the guy who did that cnc router on instructables.

i'll be there... and i'll probably bring all sorts of random electronic parts that i have laying around. i'll even have some of the new arduino based PCB's to play show and tell with.

I have everything working separately, but I haven't attempted to calibrate the movement yet, I don't know my table location yet, but my Maker ID is 777. Anybody is welcome to stop by on Friday, if they'd like to help get it set up!
