Mbot3d machine whats it like?

Hi fellow members

I am new to reprap and looking to buy/make my first 3d printer, i wonder if i can pick some of your brains! does anyone know what the Mbot3d thing O matic replica is like , do you have one? is it reliable etc.

if anyone is selling a used printer please let me know as i would be interested. I am an engineer by trade and can assist you guys with lasered stainless steel parts if you need them. I can cut upto 10mm thick steel, all you would have to do is send me a dxf and i can laser from that.

Nobody knows yet as far as I can tell.

However, the technology used in the TOM is quite outdated at this point, and I would have to recommend a machine based on better electronics/mechanics.

for the money why not just buy a real makerbot or build a reprap much cheaper? smells like a cheap chinese clone to me.

my general rule of thumb is that if something looks exactly like another product and the website features broken english, stay far far away. learned my lesson with the chinese hobby equipment the hard way.
