Extruding PLA problem

Hi Guy's

I am currently having a problem extruding using my mendel, which ive just only finshed..... After heating the extruder to 190c and clicking extrude in the host... the PLA comes out and wraps around the printhead and forms one big chunk..

How do i correct this problems and does anyone know why this is happening ?

It is probably not hot enough. If you heat it up a dew degress it might be accelerated by gravity easier.

Depending on the PLA best results are with heater over 200C, for e.g. I print PLA at 212C
