scad keeps crashing on me

I haven't really taken the time to learn scad all that much but I need to print a wade's spur gear (the one that goes on the stepper) with a smaller inside diameter. Every time I try to change the code and render, it crashes. I put the scad include files in the same directory but it still does it. Any one know what's going on or want to make me an stl of that gear with a 2.5mm inner diameter?

I don't know which scad file you are using but scad crashed for me, when using the following thingiverse
[www.thingiverse.com]

But only when mendel_misc.inc or paramettric_inv.scad were not in the same directory as the Wades gears.scad file

Attached is an STL file for the small gear with a 2.5mm bore

Make sure you have the latest version of OpenSCAD.
Sometimes it will work if you compile+render (F6) when it crashes at compile/preview (F5).
