Inside perimeters for bolts/pulleys

Hi to all on the forum,

I'm getting reliable prints from my printer.......but...

1 thing is still not working out. Although it doesn't seem to cause any structural problems, the inside perimeters on any holes printed doesn't stick very well. After reaming, a lot of it comes out which is annoying as the prints overall are good. Pic attached.

I am using Slic3r with PLA filament, 2 perimeters and have the perimeter speeds set at 20mm a second.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Raj

A clearer picture might help the dianosis.

Hi Komp,

Sorry about the picture. Bad camera phone shot and low lighting.

I changed the settings in Slic3r. The small perimeter was 20mm sec, the same as the large one. Changed this to 10mm sec and I got a much better printout of a pulley without any strings across the hole. Very little came out when reamed and the pulley hole was a tight fit on the 5mm drill bit i used.

I'd attach a picture but....smiling smiley

Thanks

Raj
