I was just on youtube and was looking at some different designs to the Reprap. I came across a video which mentioned that there was research going into the Reprap being able to run off shredded milk cartons. Has there been any advances in this? Or has anyone come up with there own replacement or recycling option. I am really like the sound of the recycling the plastic. If it was working it really would put the Reprap on a whole new scale in my opinion. If the development of circuit boards is in the pipeline as well there is the option of shredding pieces of metal and making tracks from this (although slightly dangerous I know). But it really would make the 3D printer available to a lot more people as running costs would really be thing off the past.
